ORIGIN: Atlantic Coast Cabinet Distributors is rooted in a family legacy of craftsmanship and responsibility that spans more than six decades. The story begins in 1962, when the Konkle family entered the cabinet business and laid the foundation for a tradition built on hard work, integrity, and hands‑on learning.
ZEKE’S UPBRINGING: William “Zeke” Konkle III, now Principal and CEO, grew up inside that world. By the age of seven, he was riding along with his father on weekends, absorbing the nuances of cabinetry vs.from how materials were handled to how customer relationships were built.
LESSONS IN STEWARDSHIP: Early on, Zeke learned that the success of a family business meant treating company resources with the same care as household finances. That sense of stewardship shaped his work as he moved through every role in the shop and on the jobsite, learning measurement, production, field coordination, and customer service before ever stepping into sales or management.
FOUNDING ACCD: After gaining broad experience and watching the cabinet industry evolve, Zeke founded Atlantic Coast Cabinet Distributors in 1991. His goal was simple: apply his family’s standards of responsibility, gratitude, and craftsmanship to support professional builders and commercial contractors.
TODAY: Today, ACCD is known throughout the region for dependable follow‑through and long‑term partnerships.
